Understanding The Difference of Shettles Method and O + 12

The method was first popularized in the 1960s and published as a book by dr. Landrum B. Shettles. But, is really this method effective? 3. There is a fundamental difference of these two methods if reviewed from a practical point. To be able to conceive a girl, when SM suggested to have intercourse as often as possible before ovulation, then the O+12 would suggest to have intercourse only once after ovulation is over.
Actually, the disagreement between SM and O +12 only on the right time to have intercourse, whether before or after ovulation. Surprisingly, there are always positive testimonies for both methods, though in principle opposed. Therefore, there is a view that both methods are in fact true. O+ 12 is more suitable for women who are relatively more fertile than the other women, because it has a longer fertile period, so when this kind of women use shettles method, it will more likely conceiving a boy rather than a girl.
To this day, both methods are supported by the evidence of science. Which one is more appropriate according to science? I do not know for sure. It seems that the study for determination the gender of the baby will never stop. It has always been a mystery for all of us.
