World of Warcraft is a popular MMORPG. In the game, the mining profession is used to locate and mine ore. This ore can be refined into pure metals and alloys for other professions to earn <a href="http://www.wowgoldstudio.com/">World of Warcraft gold</a>, such as blacksmiths, jewelers as well as engineers. Ore deposits also contain stones and gems. They are also used in crafting. Every miner has the "Find Minerals" ability. You need to be in the correct area before you can locate these deposits.

WOW players can get a small pet chicken. The chicken cannot help players in combat. It stays with the players as a companion. Unlike most other friend pets in the game, players get the chicken through a secret quest of sorts. Both the horde and alliance can add it to their companion collection. The chicken counts toward the various companion achievements.

Yield Disenchanted items yield several materials depending on their quality and level. Items of unusual quality could possibly disenchant into both dust and essences of different types, with armor creating a greater chance to yield dust and weapons making a greater chance to yield essences. Items of unusual quality disenchant into a single or more shards, although items of epic high quality disenchant into shards if they have a product level under 56 and into crystals if their product level is 56 or above.

The only additional metal that can be mined with journeyman mining is iron ore, which requires a skill level of 125. Iron deposits are found in Alterac Hills, Arathi Highlands, Badlands, Stranglethorn Vale, Thousand Needles and Dustwallow Marsh.

Benefits Prior to this feature was introduced, only characters with the Enchanting profession could gather Enchanting materials from items found in dungeons. This resulted in the materials being scarce and expensive to purchase from the auction house and proved quite frustrating for most players, since an item may sell to some vendor for only a few gold, but disenchant into materials worth several hundreds. Following the change, Enchanting materials have become less scarce and expensive, allowing players to more easily obtain enchantments for their gear.
