When you Want to Get Pregnant-Tips for Improving your Chances

by Roger Gray

Conceiving can be harder for some woman to achieve when wanting to have a child. A woman can increase her chance of becoming pregnant through a few ways. Find the time of month where you can easily conceive.

How to determine the optimal time of the month to conceive:

Pinpointing the exact time of extreme fertility is not easy for natural conception. Here are a couple methods of figuring out the best time of the month when the woman is most fertile.

Option #1: Calculating menstrual cycle

The best time to conceive is when the woman is ovulating. Usually day fourteen of a normal cycle is the easiest time to conceive. Twenty-eight day cycles are not always the same for all women. The cycles can range anywhere between twenty-five days all the way up to thirty-one days. Your ovulation period depends on the length and date of your menstrual cycle. Regardless of the length of your cycle, ovulating occurs on the day that is in the middle of it. The three extra days from twenty-eight to thirty-one days means day fourteen moves to day seventeen. Women are able to have an easier natural conception when paying close attention to her body.

Method #2 is keeping track of the BBT of the body:

BBT of the body can help aid in finding when you are most fertile. BBT stands for basal body temperature and keeping track of this temperature is a very effective method of keeping track of the most fertile times to conceive naturally. A consistent pattern in fertility will be seen through a BBT. Simple equipment and tactics are best for this process. Keep track of the changes in temperature.

After ovulation occurs, the normal amount of increase in the temperature is 1.6 degrees Celsius. Keep a thermometer present to record the fluctuation using two decimal places of temperature. This decreases the chances of error in the recorded BBT.

To keep accurate records and have the best idea of when fertility is at its peak, it is necessary to take the temperature each day without fail. Take the temperature first thing in the morning and the last thing at night. This should be done even before taking care of bathroom duties.

Doing this for a period of time will create an accurate date for fertility. Illness will affect the temperature and throw off the calculations of the chart. To make the process easier, try to get plenty of sleep and maintain a low amount of stress and anxiety. Be sure to make a note of any of these occurrences on the chart so it can be accurately analyzed and make it easy to see why ups and downs take place in the BBT readings.
