Video cassettes and their players are now obsolete, thanks to the introduction of more advanced technologies. Things like DVDs and downloadable films have replaced the VCR and all components. They offer faster playing times, better quality, and special features that a video does not have the capacity to hold; this makes them popular in today's fast paced, always striving for better world.
Technology for films and filming is constantly being bettered; the amount of technology films can now employ is almost unimaginable. And there is new technology always being made, ready to make the next film bigger and better. Technological advancements have seen the media world be changed from the very core, breaking the rules and creating new ones to constantly better its self.
Watching films at home has always been a popular option; this is because it is oftentimes cheaper and easier than always going to the cinema. Watching a film at home also means you can put your feet up, lounge around and truly relax. And thanks to technology and its wonders, most of the time watching a film in home is like cinemas.
A lot of old films are being constantly edited, and made to fit in with the world of technology that we today experience. Creating new films from the old, making them better and adding in a lot of features; it means that old films are suddenly wanted once again, even in this world where technology is advancing and bettered so very easily.
Films are a thing that brings people together. From first dates at the cinemas, to snuggling up with family when you settle down for a film, to sleepovers drooling over your favourite characters with friends. For years films have been something that has formed many friendships, inspired ideas, and brought people a new hope which they may have otherwise never have had.
