Some Tips For Great Photography
by Allan Hatchell
Many can easily figure out that they are in San Francisco once they see the Golden Gate Bridge. It is very popular among tourists as a landmark that makes this city unique compared to all others. There are many photographers that like to take many shots of this landmark. There are those that spend their time especially during great weathers doing Golden Gate Bridge photography.
There is no such thing as a bad picture of this particular landmark. It is described as photogenic by many photographers all over the country. There are many places where you are able to take a good enough picture of this landmark and take it as your personal souvenir.
This landmark is a spectacle when shot in the morning with the sun and the sky lighting up its magnificence. It is even more spectacular to shoot at when at night. This is especially when moon rainbows or moonbows appear above the bridge itself.
Moon rainbows are those that are produced by the moon instead of the sun. They are fainter because the amount of light is smaller compared to those in the morning however, in the dark, they are amazing to look at. Taking a photo of this place with a moon rainbow atop it would produce a very amazing picture.
Pictures that are taken with these moonbows are under the technique called moonbow photography. These pictures actually employ creative skill to highlight the splendid beauty of such moon rainbows. Long exposure techniques are used to properly capture this without the use of flashes. Moon rainbows are actually seen clearer if there is a full moon.
Some take pictures of this landmark using zoom photography techniques. Zoom effects produce very unique pictures that are fun to experiment with. Some of the pictures that this technique produces are actually very amazing.
This kind of effect however produces a picture that would seem to be moving. It can either move towards or away from the person looking at it. This is mostly done by digital cameras with shutter speeds that can be manipulated. Keeping the camera still is also the best way to produce great pictures using this technique. A tripod is regularly used for such.
There are still several other ways that you can use in order to get good shots from a Golden Gate Bridge photography experiment. If you really want to get some, it is best however that you master the use of your cameras first. Most of the time, the quality of the photo's output depends largely on how well a person masters the effects that his or her camera has.
