Headbands are probably one of the timeless accessories up to date, it has been used for years even centuries on ladies across all ages, even babies. Indeed, several headbands for infants are sold in the market all of which looks very adorable. Baby girls are so nice to accessorize mainly because they don't complain and almost always looks good at it.

Headdresses are accessories that provides a great touch up to any wardrobe regardless of what age. Baby headdresses will not only make your little girl look really cute and adorable but very fashionable as well. More so, it easily identifies that your beautiful baby is a girl. If you think that making headdresses are difficult then think again.

Headdresses are one of the simplest way to accessorize your little girl, and the most preferred by most people as well. Headdresses are simple however it actually looks very attractive and age appropriate too. There are countless of headdresses available in the market, but if you want to save your money on that, then you can always create your own one.

There are actually several ways to make your own headdresses for your baby. However, before you even start make sure that you have all the necessary materials for such task. Basic materials include your scissors, elastic, thread and needle, or a sewing machine, material choice, safety pin and lastly a measuring tape.

Next would be to measure your baby's head and get the right fit for the material. If you want to start making headdresses for your unborn little girl, then you can always make an estimate. Usually baby's head measures 50cm, just add at least 10 or 15 cm to that to make a proper fit. It is important to get the measurement right to avoid the headdress from being too tight.

Put a safety pin on one side and use it to pule the the tube from the inside to the outside. Get a piece of your elastic, with similar measurements to that of your baby's head. Thread the elastic through the tube. Make sure that the elastic will poke out in the end of the tube so that the material will wrinkle on the top.

Sew both end of the elastic and the material together to form the circle, and you have your hand made headband. Avoid making the headband too tight as this might make your baby too uncomfortable. More so, buttons may not be a great idea there's a tendency for it to loose and could be a chocking hazard.

When creating your own piece, ensure that the measurement are correct so as not to make it too tight. More so, do not let your baby wear headdresses that are too tight not only is it uncomfortable but it could actually be harmful as well.
