It has never been easier to spruce up a room without a whole lot of fuss or expense. I have always cherished the appearance of wall murals. When I go to some restaurants and I see the walls painted with artwork or I see a kid's room in magazines with painted murals I often think I wish I could afford to achieve that in my children's rooms.
I'd love a tree with flowers and animals or perhaps a whole wall with Thomas the Train and his friends. I even contacted a couple of artists that promote in our local kid's magazine but the price was just much more than I could afford.
Today you no longer need to sacrifice the space of your dreams because it's too much money. It is possible to get the look you want for much less with wall decals and murals for just a fraction of the price of painting. You'll find so many designs to select from for both kids and adults.
I started experimenting in my own room to make sure it was simple and that it would look right. The tree and cherry blossoms we put in to our decor really look remarkable. They add a brand new dimension to the space and also the excellent thing is if I choose to modify my room they peel right off without having to ruining the paint underneath.
Doing this together with my daughter was so much fun. She decided on a different combination of stickers to create an artistic style. She obtained Peace Sign Wall Stickers created by Roommates to match her peace sign pillow cases along with the Giant Daisy Peel & Stick for an extra pop of color.
She also wanted the Peace Dry Erase Wall Decal so she could make notes and make herself organized. At 9 years of age she certainly has her personal ideas about how her room should appear like. It was enjoyable to look at her think and create.
Needless to say, the most effective part was spending time with her when she chose her styles and as we place them up together we noticed her creation come to life.
Considering that each set she chose was much less than $30.00 we totally changed the appearance of her room, spent time with each other on an enjoyable task, and didn't break the bank in the whole process.
