Best Skate Shoes Of 2013

Skate shoes that appear great, are comfortable to put on and conveniently grip the skateboard are the most important part of skating in my opinion. A few of you could laugh at this, but for anyone who is, you obviously haven't had the back of one's Achilles tendon cut from cheap, crappy skate shoes that have a plastic piece digging into your tendon just after a week and a half of skating. Or possibly you haven't had your toenails fall off from that low toe height on crappy shoes, mabye you have not gotten a rash in your ankle in the chaffing from the tongue on your shoes either. Skate for any even longer and you'll experience it... I wanted to become a sponsored skater, and I trained hard. I skated 6-8 hours every other day and it is actually very hard to skate when my crappy footwear had the sole tear off and roll my ankle like Mike Tyson rolling a white guy...or Anderson Silva dominating Forrest Griffin.
Most skaters (like me) have powerful opinions on which skate footwear they like to put on. There are actually some shoes on this list that I have two pairs of, and some that I sneer at.
