When the summer time returns after the winter, it is great when you can spend the warm nights outside. This is a great time to have some friends over and enjoy a summer BBQ. However, with the summer comes the bugs and mosquitoes, which require a mosquito fan.
During the summer months it is pleasant to be outside next to the pool with the gentle sound of the water fall not too far away. Of course the water is a great mosquito attraction as is the grass and green garden. They love to be in these places and when it comes to feeding, enjoy it when there are humans in the vicinity.
The thing with these insects is that they bite people and this is very disturbing. Often when people are outside, they light Citronella candles and oil lamps. This scent is supposed to keep the mosquitoes at bay, but in all honesty is not very successful.
Often when people are going to be out during the warm summer evenings, they like to use the anti-mosquito creams that you apply to the skin to repel them, but these too are of no effect. One tends to go the extra mile to keep them away but it seems that year after year they become more resilient to the lotions and potions that people use against them.
Once you have tried all the lotions and potions and are still being hounded by these insects you will want to pull your hair out. This is the time to relax, as there is a very simple yet highly effective way to get rid of them and keep them from biting you. All you do is plug in the house fan and let it blow away. Very soon you will notice that there are no mosquitoes and there is a very simply explanation for this. Mosquitoes are not very strong fliers and they cannot fly against the current of the wind that the fan is blowing.
The thing with mosquitoes is that they are not strong enough to fly against the wind from the fan. They are very weak fliers and are kept away. The fan is great in that it keeps the place cool and the wind acts as the deterred and keeps the mosquitoes away.
When it comes to the summer months, it is usually hot enough to have some form of fan in the vicinity in any case. This will aid in keeping the room cool. The wind from the fan will blow away the mosquitoes and everyone should be comfortable.
Should it happen that you have been victim of some nasty mosquitoes, there are many remedies to stop the bites from itching. Sometimes the insect repellents work and they often do keep them at bay. One gets all sorts of candles and oils for oil lamps which are supposed to keep them away as well. Although these items may work for a short while, it seems the mosquitoes are not deterred by them and simply return, even more determined to bite the humans.
