Another option for protecting your automobile is a bug guard or bug deflector. Using this type of car protection does not cause rust to develop and is actually a better option than a car bra. A bug deflector goes over the front section of the hood and redirects the wind to flow over your car instead of towards your windshield. This not only helps to keep the bugs away from the hood of your car but off your windshield as well. Another favorable element of the bug deflector is the way that it is mounted on the hood of your car making it very stable so that it does not move and cause subsequent damage to the hood.
So if you are going to protect your car's hood most effectively, a bug deflector is probably your best solution. Expert installation is available if you're not confident doing it yourself. And for the most part wherever you get the bug protector, they should be able to install it for you.
