Who Are Sonic's Best Friends?

Sonic has been a major player in the video game market. His speed as well as personality have saved him throughout all the years and console changes. But he had help from his closest friends to get where he is.
So who are his friends? Let's take a look.
Miles "Tails" Prower
Miles, better known as Tails, is without a doubt Sonic's best friend. He is the weaker version of Sonic the Hedgehog, but has his own ability. What he does that Sonic cannot is flying high up in the sky.
Sonic may also benefit from Tails flying capability. Tails can pick up Sonic and lift him to places the Hedgehog wouldn't be able to reach on his own. As a good friend, Tails is a push over and a tiny bit too emotional when faced with hurdles. But this individual tries to discover strength within and overcome his worries.
In the early classical games, Tails can be used as a strategic player. You can use him to battle all the enemies and the various Eggman bosses hanging around, because he never dies. In the event that he disappears he comes back flying on screen.
Amy Rose
Amy's also known as Rosy the Rascal. She's the pink self appointed girlfriend associated with Sonic. Amy always attempts to win over Sonic's heart. She is always cheerful and very funny. The lady also really likes ice cream.
For a small girl she sure is strong. Just look at the woman's weapon, a big hammer. She uses this with skill plus she's clobbered plenty of enemies with it.
Knuckles the Sidekick
Knuckles, the red rival, is a great buddy of Sonic. Both of them are very competitive though. This brings out the best in both of them. Unlike Tails who is a push over, Knuckles does not back down from anybody.
Looking at Sonic his nearest friends, you can see that they would not really hesitate to assist Sonic if he is in need. Later on Sonic will meet new friends who'll help him as well.
Having friends tends to make life more fun pertaining to Sonic and in some of the games they actually have to act as a team. Because they each have their pros and cons.
