Getting a makeover can help you feel rejuvenated. You don't have to spend money to have a makeover. Invite friends over for a makeover party. Have them bring clothing in good condition they no longer wear, makeup, hair products and fashion magazines. After the makeovers, they can be judged and prizes given for a dress up games.
Clothes: Begin the clothing portion of the party by having your friends select clothing styles they like from the fashion magazines and clipping out their favorites. Hang all the clothing your friends have brought on a rack. Divide the group of partygoers into pairs. Have the pairs choose outfits for each other from the rack based on the images provided. Having a second eye and new clothing to wear will give your wardrobe a fresh look. Each guest should keep the new clothes from their makeover.
Makeup: Change partners again for makeup makeovers. Have everyone put their makeup together on a table. Again, use the magazines as reference for different makeup styles. Everyone should wash their faces before beginning the makeovers
Hair: Hair makeovers should be similar to the clothes and makeup makeovers. Use the magazines to select hairstyles. Switch partners again. Use the magazine clippings as a reference. You do not need to have a hair cut for a new hairdo. Use styling products such as hair gel and hairspray with a curling iron or straight iron to give your partner a new hairstyle.
Considerations: The clothing people bring should be given to the person for whom it is selected. It should also be clean and in good condition. Have everyone bring her own makeup applicators to make the makeup makeover more hygienic. Each makeover participant should also bring her own hairbrush. Judging: After all the makeovers are complete, have the participants walk in a runway show. Each part of the makeover (clothing, make p and hair) should be judged for best, and runner up. The overall winner of the makeover could get to pick her favorite outfit the others are wearing and bring it home with them if they desire. This adds another element to the competition.
