Toys To Help Your Baby Walk Sooner

by Christopher Kringal

Baby walkers are useful and the entire family can benefit from them. If your baby is getting to the age of being able to work his or her legs to move around then a walker is ideal. What happens is the baby is able to move about in the toy walker and do what they want to do without parental supervision required at each and every moment.

A basic and popular form of walker is the wheel-based one with a basic hardened top area and seated cushion. This cushion area receives the baby in comfort and allows the legs to drop down to the floor so the child may push about the home.

As your baby grows he or she will need more room. This is just fine in a walker because many of them are adjustable. The same padded and cozy seat that allows the legs to go through it, is attached to a frame which allows for height adjustment. This way you don't have to throw out the walker due to turning obsolete.

If your baby gets bored, and they all do, then there are also attachment toys. Many walkers come with an optional add-on set of toys and large keys or animal shapes. These types of stimuli make it so the baby is multitasking while he or she moves around the home. It keeps them occupied so the parent doesn't have to put on a show at all times. The more you're willing to spend the more options are available such as walkers that play songs or make noises by way of electronics so it's up to you to find the one you want.

Another type of infant walker is one that actually doubles as a wagon to place toys in. Toddlers use this type of system and it is best for them since their walking skills are a bit more advanced. If you place a small baby on this type of toddler walker then he or she will tip over and fall. This is set up with a handle bar, not an enclosure for the baby to sit inside of for protection. This setup is for stronger walking kids.

Here we'll cover the last type of walker we recommend. It is the 2-in-1 and it is just as the name implies. You get two setups for the price of one and it's a combination of the types we've already discussed earlier here. You can start off with this walker as one for your baby to sit in fully enclosed. This is similar to ones that are purely meant for 6-12 month old kids. The key difference is in a year when your baby is a strong walker you will easily transform this unit into a push type suitable for a toddler.
