Children Music. Songs They'll Remember Their Whole Life

Music is such a attractive thing. Everyone has some favorite songs that have a special meaning to them. It could be the song you had your first kiss on. The song that was played on your wedding. The tune that played in the store when you purchased your first motherhood bra (<a href="http://www.prenatal.nl/shop/Positiemode-Zwangerschapslingerie.htm?id=cat30240">zwangerschapslingerie</a> in Dutch). Or the favourite song of your now dead dad. These songs stick with you for your whole life. They are discernible when you hear them and some can even give you goosebumps. In a way they're engrained in your very being.
Did you ever hear a friend say you should play instrumental music when your baby is still in your belly? Or heard a story from a friend where they spotted their baby reacting to certain songs while they still carried it? This is down to the fact that music is so special and is one of the first things that can cause feelings apart from hunger and agony. You could not do your kid a better favour then to discover early on what music they like and play it for them a lot! Not only will it keep them contented, if they have a hidden musical talent you may be sure it'll surface early!
My own daughter had a special liking for jazz. Not because she knows all the classics but because it is the only type of music she has heard from before she was born. Now that she's three she would rather hear Micheal Buble and Sinatra than some of those horrible high pitched children songs! Thank the Lord for that.
Another thing that's developed with an early exposure to music is a good sense of rhythm. Those tiny hips will begin to sway before they have even the smallest notion of what dancing is. It'd look like a dancing monkey initially, but it will soon evolve into tangible regular dancing!
Do your youngsters a favour and play them music every day, lot's of it!
