Eliminate A Negative With Positive Clothes

The generation z population will have birth dates between the years 2004 and 2012. This is the generation that grew up in with sophisticated technology. Texting, social networking, and smart phones are standards in their lives. However, this increased technology has exposed them to much more negative subject matter. Some comes through the evil intents of groups and individuals. Still other negativity comes through news and religious related entities who feel their truth is better than the truth of others. In this situation it is important to offset the negative influences, and the place to start is with positive clothes.
A scripture passage in the Holy Bible mentions that one should think on things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of a good report, having virtue, and having praise. This ties into another scripture which states as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. It is very important that wholesome reinforcement be extended to everyone.
Positive apparel is a great approach. It can offset the negative images and phrases as well as sexually suggestive designs which can be seen everywhere. These are very popular. But, they may not be within the mental and spiritual best interest of the wearer.
Clothing that is uplifting can be defined by the design. Young girls that feel the need to wear clothing which shows their belly button or young men which have the desire to wear their pants low so their underwear will show can argue that this is their right. With every action, there is a reaction. This is not just a principle of physics. It is a principle that can be applied to what one chooses to wear. And just like words spoken can never be taken back, sometimes what one wears is the same way.
Wearing shirts with inspiring slogans can be considered. Wearing prayer t-shirts or those with wisdom words can be an option. Funny designs and slogans can also uplift. There can be enjoyment and fun in what a person wears.
There are watches and shoes, hats and other types of clothing which could have positive designs and expressions. Often the colors can help to promote positive thoughts.
Positive clothes are not the ultimate answer, but it is a step in the right direction. There is a definite need to change the course of conversation and what is considered acceptable. Virtuous apparel could be a non verbal move that ultimately speaks louder than any words.
