D7100 Nikon Camera
by Christopher Goldman
With the big success from its predecessor, the D7100 from Nikon was one of the most highly anticipated products this year. And it did not disappoint as it comes with so many improvements that consumers are giving positive feedback with it. It will be a great upgrade and not just from the D7000.
Here is the review of the newest and best-selling D7100 from Nikon:
Quality Images - With its 24 MP DX-format CMOS sensor and no optical low pass filter, the results are incredibly sharp and clear images. It has an ISO sensitivity of 100 to 6400 and can even be boosted up to 25600. And with the Expeed 3 image processor you will really be impressed with its responsiveness.
High-Speed Performance and Auto-focus - Enjoy fast and accurate focus with its 51 point AF system and this is a big improvement from its predecessor. Also, one of the best things that should be highlighted is that it focuses better even in very low light environments. You will also love how fast this is at 6 fps.
LCD Screen - It does not have the articulating screen that we all love, instead it features a 3.2" 1.2m-dot LCD display which is fixed. If you are not very particular in this department, or if you would even prefer your camera this way, then there is no problem. But it is clearer and provides useful info.
Movie Making - This camera is versatile with its ability to record high quality videos at Full HD 1080p. It comes with a built-in stereo microphone but also has an external mic jack if you wish to use it. A headset and HDMI jack are also available for a more convenient way to create movies.
Design and Accessories - It is almost identical to the d7000 but is slightly smaller and lighter. One of the best things that I liked about it is that it is has a weather-sealed protection which is very important for wildlife and outdoor photographers. Battery life performance is still the same as it still has the EN-EL 15 Lithium-Ion and dual memory card slots.
Another very interesting addition is the "I" button which is located at the lower left. It is a very useful short cut to adjust settings even on live view.
Conclusion - If you are looking to buy a new digital SLR camera, you should seriously consider this Nikon's latest flagship - the D7100. Not only does it have the latest technology, but its features are very impressive whether you are an entry level or professional photographer.
