The Hanging Of Wall Fountains

by Jesse Luce

Installing of wall fountains at your residence is much simpler than you believe it is. They in fact bring a touch of class and a stunning improvement to your decoration. Firstly you have to choose a spot in which you want the wall fountain to be situated. Ensure the stability of the wall so that it will never destroy or collapse. Look for an outlet to see if there is a spot to plug the water fountain. If you buy a fountain make sure that everything is found in the box and all the pieces. Confirm if the wall surface has a holding mechanism as well as measure the wall first. Bigger wall fountains may only be mounted by the group instead of you mounting it yourself. You also need to look for the proper wall stud.

Many of the wall fountains are weighty therefore you must not cling them directly on a sheet rock. The fountains that are made up of rock and slate are the heaviest ones. Water fountains that weigh above thirty pounds must be placed with brackets. While the lighter models can be installed with a picture hanging set. Just for security you have to hang the wall fountain in a manner that the electrical outlet and also the power cord are hidden behind the water fountain. Hang the fountain in a place so that it is not always being bumped by who ever passing by.

You need a cordless drill to screw in the bracket and a level device in order to install the water fountain just right. A measuring tape, pencil and several screws will also be required. To begin with mark the place in which you are going to install the fountain. Make sure that it's installed where it will fit the adornment and somewhere higher. You should also find out how tall and wide the water fountain is prior to mounting it on the wall. Place all the items that will fit quickly and easily together.

The second step for the wall fountains is to hang the bracket and mark the spots where the screws will be inserted. Right after hung the bracket, then you lift the slate and attach it to the bracket. After the stone is attached to the bracket then connect the base basin that will hold the water. Fill the tank below with water and use sanitized water which is free from solids and organisms. This pure water will help mineral deposits from growing in the water. Refill the water inside the fountain regularly as it must be refilled once a week. There must not be too much water in the wall fountain otherwise it might splash and end up wetting the furniture. But too little water can also be an issue, that may leave blemishes on the water pump.

Once it is full of water the wall fountain is all set to start. Just make sure that the parts are attached successfully. You can also include pebbles to the bottom plate and appreciate the elegance of your wall fountain. Those wall fountains provide a unique dramatic statement regardless of where they are installed and are maintenance free.
