Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed Wii U Trailer

I actually understand I may be piping on about the video game a lot recently but I honestly think it's gonna be pretty great. SEGA just launched a Wii U trailer showing all of the exclusive content obtainable on the system. These features range from some fairly banal ones to something I actually think is genuinely (blank) exciting.

A Nintendo wii U game-pad can be utilized for a new top down map just like Mario Kart on the DS has. This top down map is great for looking behind you & monitoring your weaponry while having a few pretty crucial HUD options sitting on the game-pad to clear up the tv screen for a more cinematic racing performance. Motion controls have returned and you can make use of the gyro device in the game-pad as the steering wheel. Additionally, the Nintendo wii U version of the video game, gets a few special game modes, none of which have been outlined regrettably, but for the cost of the game title it's probably worth having a little more content.

The interesting news flash however, is definitely stuff directly concerning the operation of the game-pad itself. Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is going to be the very first Wii U game to have Television to game-pad support, which means if you want to play Sonic Racing and your mom or even life partner would like to watch Corrie or something, that's fine. Because just a swish of a screen and you can transfer what you watch on a TV on to the game-pad. Another exciting addition is the idea of five player split screen racing. For the first time in a racing game's history, you will be able to race with 4 of your friends on the same gaming console as opposed to just three. As a fan of split display multi-player I whole heartedly support this move. Remarkably the online roster has increased from eight competitors to 10, which i imagine, would be to try & get some sort of 10 person LAN party going, which once again I am in favor of!

The Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed game title can be still on track to make it into stores on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 16th for European countries and November 20th for North america, Wii U on November 18th in North america and November 30th in European countries as well as Nintendo 3DS & Playstation Vita on November 16th in Europe and December 11th in North america.
