Since a few parts of a hookah are fragile, it is really worth to have a hard carry case for the hookah.
In addition, soft cases are also available. Just like hard cases, they often have several compartments to organize and keep hookah and accessories. A padding in the travel case protects the parts from breaking. But, they are not as secure as hard cases.
Lastly, although cases are commonly sold with mini hookahs, which may be 17 inches, it is simple to get a case that will hold a 32 inch hookah or bigger.
