Even so, fruit flavors are still the most popular flavors among hookah smokers. The majority of newer flavors do, however, take their cues from the tried and true traditional fruit flavors. After each smoking session you must wash your hookah. It is best to wash hookah with warm water than with cold water.

To have a longer and smoother smoking session, make sure that the charcoal does not burn the tobacco. Prepare the bowl in a way as to prevent the tobacco from getting stuck to the foil or screen; in fact, try not to let the tobacco to touch the foil at all. While you are packing the bowl, ensure that the tobacco is at least a couple of millimeters below the rim of the bowl. So that when you wrap the foil, there is distance between the tobacco and the foil. Putting two toothpicks over the tobacco in a cross is an excellent way to prevent the foil from touching the tobacco. Also, when "packing" the bowl, don't pack the tobacco down firmly. Rather, loosely pile it into a fine mound allowing the air to flow through the mound. This will also prevent the tobacco from burning as easily, and it will need less suction on the hose to have a nice, full flavorful hit. To prevent overheating many people use two sheets of foil. Don't burn the shisha and you'll be able to enjoy a smooth and long session of smoking.
