Merry go rounds are often times at top attraction at such events. Carnivals can also be called fairs, and they are typically held by cities and towns on a yearly basis. They could also be held by churches and charities, and people many times find out about them through local advertisements and word of mouth.
People can also have merry go rounds in their own homes. With the Internet, one can find many stores which ship carousels to peoples' residences. One may want to make his or her child a dream bedroom or to have the ride on hand when birthday parties and other social events involving children take place.
Individuals can also locate merry go rounds in areas that stand alone, meaning that the venue they are going to has a merry go round and that is it. This may be the case in parks or old storefronts where the rides have been in operation for many years, decades even. Such rides have historic value.
