If you're a supporter of the popular Harry Potter fantasy novels, then there's no doubt that the mystical Hogwarts Castle will ring a bell in your ears.

Filled with magic, and developed on the foundation of magic, Hogwarts Castle is a big, seven storey building with several towers, turrets and deep dungeons. The castle was built in the late middle-ages by wizard teachers Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw and Salazar Slytherin. According to the tales, the castle is referred to as the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, that is regarded as the best and greatest magic school in the world.

Apart from the several events that have occurred at Hogwarts, this time around it is Lego's turn to tell a story. Introducing a total Lego reproduction on Harry Potter, the Lego Hogwarts Castle 4842. The collection measures 19 inches wide and 12 inches high, and features over 1200 items of Lego building blocks.

According to the Lego perspective of events in this set, it is not quite the jolly high tea breakfast but an alarming invasion. The Dementors have invaded the popular sorcery college and have it entirely enclosed, and an epic duel between Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort is going to occur. Dumbledore and companions challenge the He Who Must Not Be Named while professors McGonagall and Flitwick make an effort to fend off the bad forces. It is your chance discover what the collection has to offer with its chambers and special rooms and the power to role play and live the Harry Potter moment in a exciting and rare Lego way.

That collection is carefully made with amazing design details including Dumbledore's workspace with its key falling spiral stairway, Gryffindor common room with Sirius Black's face fireplace, Tom Riddle's book hidden in the knight's armor, restricted library area, astronomy tower and much more. The collection reproduces the wonderful architecture shown in the films, and is definitely a charming showpiece for the passionate Harry Potter followers.

The price of the collection is listed on the hundred dollar mark. It is an extreme request a Lego set, but with over 1200 items, it is a showpiece collection, and for the passionate Harry Potter supporters, it can make one hell of a wonderful gift. Suitable for ages 8+.
