In many cultures clothing plays its fascinating part in reflecting the values, beliefs and tastes of people. A garment can serve as a memento of experiences or achievement. For example, joggers often get a t-shirt on completion of a race and wear it with pride. In other cases a product such as drink or cosmetic can be advertised on a promotional piece of clothing that has been given out in return for free advertising.
The advent of the Internet and its associated consequences has perhaps put an end to the post modern era and introduced a new era, yet to be named. It is radically affected by computer technology.
