Adventure Race Training & Challengers In Next "smash Bros."

by Rob Sutter

To say that E3 has kept my attention recently would be something of an understatement. It seems like games are coming about in droves recently and I am all for playing these new titles as they come about as well. That being said, the upcoming installment in the "Super Smash Bros." series has definitely caught my eye more than any other. With new fighters coming into this Nintendo-dominated franchise, how will these characters benefit from adventure race training while the days continue to tick down?

I believe the most iconic of the debuting characters in the next game has got to be Mega Man, who was widely anticipated by the fans. He was one of the many that fans demanded be in the series, right alongside Sonic the Hedgehog. Now that Capcom's mascot has seemingly made his appearance, the robot fighter now has to prove himself in this field. While he may be a machine, the truth is that he's going to have to limber up his metallic limbs if he wants to compete.

Mega Man may not be able to work out his robotic limbs, though, in comparison to the normal ones that the Villager from Animal Crossing has. This was one choice that took me by surprise because I had no idea that this character could actually be utilized in a fighting game. However, something as silly as a bug-catching net seemingly makes sense in this realm. Physical activity is something that this character seems to know about from day to day, which actually makes him a viable character.

If you're talking about the real choice I wasn't expecting, that spot belongs to the Wii Fit Trainer. For those who are unfamiliar with this personality, she is someone who wouldn't look out of place in an instructional video. However, considering her ability to remain limber no matter what, she would actually function quite well in events the likes of Spartan Race. Her athleticism would play to her advantage, allowing her to excel in adventure race training in ways others may not be able to.

No matter whom you're looking about when it comes to the upcoming "Smash Bros." title, I don't think anyone can disagree with the impact that adventure race training can have. It will be able to test you for when you actually find yourself in an event that will push to your limits and perhaps then some. These three characters definitely had varying levels of reception from the crowd. However, I'm sure that gamers are going to be interested in seeing how they fare in the long run.
