The Monks of ivgorod are well trained in battle skills and are also capable of using special powers including mantras to protect themselves from their enemies. The mantra of evasion is one such skill that they use to dodge the blows from enemies. They are warriors who are trained to fight the evil foes. These monks reside in the monastery, where they undergo training and also learn meditation.
Some of the special abilities unlocked with runes are, sudden assault which you are suddenly beamed to the target and the damage percentage is increased to 1006%. Fulminating onslaught unleashes an exploding strike which does two times the damage of weapon within the radius of 7 yards around the target. Several sided strike increases the number of times you hit with the skill , up to 9. The sustained attack rune stone helps you to reduce the cool down time by 7 seconds. Pandemonium, gives you a 25% chance to stun your enemy for a span of 7 seconds with each hit of seven sided strike.
Mantra of evasion is unlocked at level 19 of the game. You must spend 50 spirit energy for each usage. When the monks chant this mantra, you and your allies within a range of 4 yards gains 15% chance of dodging enemy attacks for 3 minutes and an additional 15% chance of dodging attacks is activated for 3 seconds. The different customized forms or runes of this mantra are perseverance, hard target, wind through the reeds, backlash and divine protection. You can use these runes to increase movement speed or duration of the effectiveness and so on.
Mystic Ally is one of the skills that you can use as a fighter Monk of Monastery at the 22nd level of game. With this special focus skill you can summon a companion to fight alongside you in the war of holy versus the unholy. You have to spend 25 accumulated spirit energy each time to use this particular skill. The alley that you summon helps you fight demons till the time it is completely destroyed. The alley is able to deal 40% of your weapon damage and you can modify and customize this skill in different levels of the game to enhance the skill intensity.
Way of hundred fists, as the name suggests, is a spell of rapid blows used by the Monk class to destroy his enemies. This skill is a combo skill and induces a generation of 6 spirit with each attack. These legendary characters are taken and trained in to prepare them for the future combat. They lead very simple lives devoid of sins through the practice of meditation. They dress only in a piece of orange cloth wrapped around their body with a garland of large wooden beads. The severe training of these Monks teaches them a number of techniques for battling outer and inner demons. Way of hundred fists is a technique where the monks unleash quick punches on the enemy damaging up to 140%. This technique is mainly based on the mental energy which supports combat speed enhancement. Runes of this skill are hands of lightning which the number of hits increases to 10 from 7. Blazing fists allows the attack speed to increase. A fist of fury is a rune stone that causes additional 10% damage of weapons. Spirited salvo gives a chance to regenerate 15 additional spirit energy and wind force flurry allows the third strike to generate 250% weapon damage.
