Halloween is the perfect time for you to sit down with your family and watch some spooky yet family friendly films that won't make your children have nightmares but everyone will enjoy them. There are many films for you to choose from. Watching these films inside certainly beats walking around in the dark and cold trick or treating.
For a Halloween comedy you should watch the recent classic Shaun of the Dead which shows a zombie invasion in the United Kingdom which star duo Simon Pegg and Nick frost. You will enjoy this film as it meant to add comedy to horror so everyone can enjoy a zombie film without being scared. It is all about enjoying you Halloween night.
Another film which would be great to watch for this time of year would be the Disney Pixar classic Monsters Inc. This film features the world of monsters that go into children's bedrooms at night to scare the 'scream' out of them but as things go wrong the storyline develops. Everyone will love this film as it is made for a laugh whilst matching the monster theme of Halloween.
A real classic that features the ghosts of Halloween and the comedy of April fools is the ever popular Ghostbusters. Most people have seen this film which was first cast in 1984 but this always proves a hit with people as it genuinely is a laugh out loud film which features unemployed scientists battling ghosts in their new profession.
All of these films will certainly make your Halloween interesting as you and your friends become frightened by these films. If you want another classic try watching Tex Chainsaw Massacre which would be a great end to your Halloween night.
