Which Wrestlers Can Stand To Relay Training Endurance Best?

by Rob Sutter

Training endurance is an action that can help just about anyone looking to become better fit. It's going to take some hard work, though, as they will have their limits pushed beyond reaches that they probably didn't think of before. Sports of all kinds are going to require that this is set at a minimum but going above and beyond it is going to be done. Professional wrestling fans can tell you just about every star who is best suited to perform for long stretches of time.

Before getting into the specific stars, I'd like to talk about the Iron Man match, which is perhaps the most combative bare bones contest you could think of. The object of the match is to compete for a long stretch of time - an hour seems to be the most common - so that you can score one pinfall or submission victory over one another. The one with the most victories by the end is declared the winner. When you're working for sixty minutes or even other, physical threshold is everything.

A match that I regard as one of my favorites, even to this day, is Bret Hart versus Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania XII. During the hour, the two men faced one another in a bout that included many technical moves in addition to high-flying maneuvers. What I've noticed, more than anything else, is that they didn't seem to tire much during that time. They continually performed at high levels because they paced the action well and followed each other in order to make the bout fun to watch throughout.

What about the other stars who could be best suited for events the likes of Spartan Race? Daniel Bryan, for example, has had a number of matches which have gone over an hour and you can attribute this to his physical conditioning. Considering that he had gone two and a half years being vegan, he seems to treat his body well. This results in him being able to undergo training endurance, showing that such a high limit stands a greater chance of becoming better.

I think that there is a great level of work that you can associate with training endurance. As far as the actual wrestlers are concerned, you can be assured that a select few of them are going to be able to utilize the natural energy they have at their disposal. Many people don't realize that it's not about how hard you perform. Sometimes it may come down to how efficient you are at preserving your energy and taking it out during the times which suit it best.
