High-Risk Wrestling Moves & How Compression Socks Help

by Rob Sutter

As someone who's been involved in wrestling as a fan for quite some time, I feel like these competitors can use compression socks the most. This bit of footwear was seemingly constructed with athletes in mind and there are not many other groups more athletic, in my mind. These people showcase great feats of strengths and examples of quickness. Fast feet and legs for these wrestlers is precisely why I see these particular socks becoming beneficial for those who compete almost daily.

I think that wrestlers with high-risk move sets are going to be the ones who use compression socks the best. PRO Compression made these kinds of socks with foot fatigue in mind, knowing just how easily that can surface in people who are physically active. These kinds of athletes move at fast paces and those who cannot keep up will be the ones who are ultimately left behind. When talking about such wrestlers, which ones in particular come to mind?

If we were talking about the mid to late 90's, I think Rey Mysterio stands as a perfect candidate for these socks. While he's certainly slowed down recently as his career winded down as well, I can't argue the fact that he's still pretty agile. Back then, though, he could have been able to pull off hurricanranas and sentons over the top rope without feeling like his feet needed a rest. That is the amount of ability that these socks have in the grand scheme of things.

If you'd like a more modern example of a fast-paced wrestler, though, I don't think there's one more noteworthy than Daniel Bryan. Someone who climbed through the independent circuit in order to make it to World Wrestling Entertainment, it's like his style incorporates a bunch of elements. While he's a speedy wrestler, to be certain, his usage of technical ability and submission holds clearly show how versatile he can be. To say on the up and up, Bryan may want to use these socks.

Athleticism is something that seems to come easy for wrestlers but it's not always easy for them. Not counting off the numerous days that these people are on the road, the actual competition is pretty fast-paced when you get down to it. People seem to wrestle different styles but the one fact that remains true is that the action continues until the sound of the bell. Compression socks can help these wrestlers see their matches to the end without becoming terribly winded.
