Wrestling Skill & Benefits Bike Riding Can Have

by Rob Sutter

Bike riding stands as one of the exercises that, in my mind, just about anyone can get into. It's one of those actions that take effort but it's the kind that has a purpose as you move about from place to the next. That being said, I am also a great fan of professional wrestling and I oftentimes find myself evaluating the performance of many stars. Even though cycling can be great in terms of maintenance, I believe that one's conditioning can be steadily improved as well.

I think the worst case offenders here are the part-time workers who come about for the sake of heightening the ratings. You have such people as The Rock, Triple H, and Brock Lesnar who come in to only work a few specific dates throughout the year and I have to wonder why this is when a number of them cannot perform that well. Lesnar does well enough on his own, considering that he's a former UFC Heavyweight Champion. However, men like Triple H and the Rock have been out of action for a while and their performances suffer.

However, I can't say that every person who operates within the ring is going to be a five star athlete. Ryback, for example, is perhaps the worst example of style over substance as he isn't exactly the performer who is in the best shape. Yes, his power is almost unmatched but to say that he is able to go about long matches would be something of a lie. Seeing as how this man becomes tired rather quickly, it's hard for me to become invested in the bouts he's part of.

There is a certain degree of shape that wrestlers have to stay in or else they aren't going to be able to compete at the degrees which fans desire them to. Bike riding is just one exercise, of course, but it's easily one of the most helpful if you're talking about helping the heart. In fact, the entire body can become better toned thanks to this activity, which is why a good number of people have taken it up. Companies such as Linus Bike know that there are physical benefits to cycling and make certain to highlight them.

Wrestling, as of now, would be best suited if there was more of an even focus in terms of aesthetics and talent. However, it seems like the former has overpowered the latter in a number of cases and I can't imagine that WWE has found a good balance between the two yet. Wrestlers have to perform well; it doesn't matter if they're solely brought on because they have the ideal look. If it's a matter of conditioning, then an activity like bike riding can pose a number of incentives in the long run.
