A person just starting out with online gaming can sometimes feel some trepidation. When you make your grand entrance you're feeling slightly clueless, compared to everyone else, and your newb questions only seem to irritate more experienced players.

Even if you have good control over your mouse and keyboard, it can't hurt to ask long time players for their advice on how to have a better time in the game's universe. You will see that many gamers like helping beginners because it gives them a chance to show-off their knowledge. When you're no longer a n00b, you will do the same to others and help them.
Most games have a learning curve associated with them, and you should learn about your game, as well. There are a lot of reasons to do that: you'll be able to compete better, and others will appreciate and have more fun playing with you, as well. Understanding the mechanics of the game, the environments included in the game and, especially, the story line are all very helpful. You'll only improve yourself in your game by studying and learning whatever content can be found. These contain details that you would probably have otherwise missed. Gaming is a challenging, versatile, and dynamic world - don't get left in the dust.
So don't be a prima dona or a brat because that will bring everyone down. If you need a left-handed mouse, that's cool and get one; but just keep everything in perspective. Gaming in about fun, not the left-handed mouse affair.
