Is Food Coming From Some Sort Of Natural and Organic Garden Trustworthy?

by Ben Adams

For many people, organic is a magical word, but is food from an organically grown garden really as safe as everyone says it is? Organic and natural gardening can be described as a widening trend among many people. When you buy organic food whether it is fruits or vegetables, are you ever curious about how safe it is? This information will explain some things to you that you may not have been aware of.

33% of the food bought in the united kingdom was demonstrated to have measurable levels of pesticides and chemicals within them, and this was done by a scientist in the UK. Chemical substances that are used for crop enhancement can be damaging to human health. The developed world is the prime target for these chemicals and it does not even matter if the food is organic or not. The crops that consumed the water in the earth was the main source of the problem. For a long time, chemicals out of fertilizers and pesticides have been distributed over the ground to make the plants grow faster, and bigger.

The chemicals are actually entering into water tables which are spreading into everything we eat. The only way to never use polluted water is to use distilled water but this will prevent proper nutrients from growing. One other way contamination might be spread is by the wind. The majority of the fertilizers and bug sprays are sprayed on the crops, so any time the wind is blowing they can be carried anywhere. Chemicals and toxified substances can end up almost anywhere because of how the wind travels and moves. When they come down on the ground it might be your organic garden.

So even though you are taking plenty of precautions, you don't know what might be traveling around in the air. Infants who've just been born are often at most risk when it comes to pesticides. The pesticides inside the food might be part of a bigger problem in the world that we have yet to foresee. Certain types of cancer, break down of the central nervous system, weakening immune system, and poor health have all been linked to some of the chemicals in our food.

Protecting your food by cleaning them isn't as true as many people say it is. Washing the skin won't be very helpful because certain chemicals leech through the skin and into the vegetable thus defeating the purpose of washing it. This article demonstrated to you that organic food might be just as bad as food from a grocery store or supermarket. Even so, they are probably still more healthy than what you buy at a supermarket.
