The Use of a Live or Artificial Lure in Trout Fishing

According to some fishermen, it is better to use a live lure every time you go for trout fishing, but there are also other people who oppose that using an artificial lure is much better, are there any basis for this? You cannot conclude the appropriate type lure to use during trout fishing will be an artificial one or a live one by just judging on what the trout has taken it responsively or on what the trout has chosen for the day. There should be a basis and it should be in facts and not with opinions, every kind of lure has a truth behind it that every fisherman should know about it.

1. The Artificial Trout Lure - Examples for this category are the dough lures, spinners, spoons, jigs, and artificial flies. If you are a trout angler then it is better for you to use this type of lure because this is an efficient lure for trout fishing. The colors and sizes of these types of lures should also be taken into consider since it helps you to be victorious in trout fishing. In trout fishing, when you are using an artificial lure, it is better to use a lure that is miniature in size.

2. The Live Trout Lures - Examples for this category are the worms, minnows, grasshoppers, crickets, and crayfish. Since bringing a live lure in the water with you is hassle and stressful, some people do not utilize this kind of lure in trout fishing. This is not appropriate if you usually sail through water to search for trout and catch one. If you insist to utilize this kind of lure, all you have to do is to keep these lures' appearance as natural as it can be. So that the trout will be attracted to gnaw your live lure, it should be able look as pleasant and as natural as it can be.

Therefore, in trout fishing, you can conclude that whether you use an artificial or a live lure, you will still be successful since both are efficient. The truth is this is not a contest to which of the two is the winner for trout fishing, since everything depends on the fishermen, it depends on what they choose as their lure since the trout will still nibble it wither of the two.

During spring season, it has always been a hobby to most of the people to hang out and do some trout fishing because there are plenty of fishing places that are suitable for this activity especially in this time of the year. However, there is a dilemma that arise whenever you wanted to do trout fishing, you do not know which is better to use an artificial or a live lure.
