Guide for WOW Archaeology

There are a lot of different professions in World of Warcraft. Archaeology is a secondary profession released together with the Cataclysm expansion. This profession gives players various types of rewards, like <a href="http://www.wowdocs.com/">World of Warcraft gold</a>, experience and powerful equipment to character disguises, mounts and vanity pets.

First of all, players need to talk to Greyson Shadowbreaker after getting the Censer. After that, go to Terrordale in the Eastern Plaguelands to bring the Censer. You should look for the Terrorweb Tunnel exit, and then see several green rings around the ruins. Use the Censer near these green rings. Several spirits will spawn (one to three spirits).

Several archaeology achievements exist, linked to either your skill in archaeology, specific projects or the amount of common and rare projects you have completed. These achievement reward a total of 190 achievement points. Additionally , three of the achievements grant your character an additional title. Completing one rare project rewards the title "Assistant Professor", completing 10 rewards the title "Associate Professor" and completing 20 rewards the title "Professor".

Players can also get several mounts and vanity pets by archaeology. For instance, players can get the Fossilized Raptor mount and the matching Fossilized Hatchling vanity pet, which are uncommon projects constructed from fossil fragments, and so is the Pterrordax Hatchling vanity pet. The Clockwork Gnome and Voodoo Figurine vanity pets are made of dwarf and troll fragments, and the Ultramarine Qiraji Battle Tank and Crawling Claw vanity pet are constructed from tol'vir fragments.

Players can only get the rare alchemy recipe for the Vial of the Sands by archaeology. It is a special mount that make it possible for your character to turn into a dragon and carry a friend. To get this recipe, you should complete archaeology projects from tol'vir fragments. The recipe can be found inside a Canopic Jar, a common tol'vir project.
