In order to raise funds and awareness with regard to breast cancer, boob art has become a very popular form of expression. In most countries around the earth there are ongoing campaigns to try and find better ways to fight breast cancer because it's one of the most common types of cancer that causes death in women. The symbol of the pink ribbon is famous because that is the symbol of breast cancer.
One way that people raise funds that go to women who suffer from this disease is through body painting. One organization makes use of women who have survived as models. An artist gets to know these women and paints on their chests and abdomen exquisite pieces of work that suit the women.
Some countries will hold breast cancer weeks where people are encouraged to shave their hair and donate that for the making of wigs for the cancer survivors who have lost their hair. Artistic expression has been a way to portray or display oneself for eons of time so it make sense that it will make its way through to this sort of initiative. One will automatically think of body painting as a way of expression against this physical cancer.
As an example, one photograph contained a woman whose body paint was that of a phoenix rising out of the flames that was painted across her chest and abdomen. The colors are bright and the effect is striking. All of this kind of work is done very tastefully and the women are covered effectively. There are many other types of charities that use this form of work as part of their awareness campaigns.
No matter what the campaign is about, every one of them is to raise awareness and educate women how to take care of themselves during such an ordeal. They teach women how to identify potential problem spots on themselves. Above all this, the money that is raised is donated towards women who suffer from breast cancer to help them pay for medical bills or help them to get the proper treatment. They will also provide other types of support such as nursing assistance or to pay for hospice for these women.
All the money that is made will be donated to foundations that are dedicated to help women who are going through the ordeal of treatment. All these campaigns and events are meant to provide education to women. It builds awareness so that this cancer can be caught early which is then easier to treat.
Many women have suffered through this disease has had some help from one of the many organizations that are around. Funds are raised to help women that have no other means of paying medical costs to receive the treatment that they need. There is an annual fashion show that is held at various cities in the U. S. That are dedicated towards raising funds for this disease.
