Can You Use Beadwork To Treat Medical Conditions?

It is practical to use beadwork to cure health conditions? The answer to this question will depend on who you ask. While most sane people would never suggest that wearing stones could treat cancer or other critical illnesses, there is some information that reveals certain gemstones may give the user something more than just a beautiful accessory.
For example, if you are stressed you can benefit from wearing a necklace made using Labradorite. This stone comes from the earths crust and people who wear it are likely to be more in tune with the normal rhythm of life. It is considered to decrease levels of stress and anxiety. Moonstone, another member of the feldspars group, is a great stone to use if making a gift for a swimmer as it is assumed to keep them safe.
Amber is said to bring love and friends. In China, Jade is regarded particularly lucky and a lot of Chinese people will put on or carry a piece of jade as they feel that it will keep them safe. You probably have seen jade charms in the form of a butterfly. These are considered particularly lucky and are usually presented as gifts between loved up couples. You could make a charm bracelet for a friend or relative who is going on trips. Fix a jade charm to it to keep them safe and sound and then they may buy different beads on their journeys to add to this beadwork.
Whether the stones have true powers or simply create a placebo effect isn't really important. If somebody is feeling down or distressed and gets a lift by wearing a piece of beadwork definitely that's a good thing.
Even in modern medicine, placebos are sometimes used and the results obtained can be incredible. Obviously you would never attempt to cure depression or any other disease with a piece of stone and should seek medical attention first. But making a nice gift for someone who is feeling under the weather is a wise thing to do.
