A Look at Just How Folks Spend their Time Before

In the old times there was clearly no vacuum cleaners, there are large place mats brought in from Persia (now Iran). As soon as the living room carpet turned out to be dirty with dirt, they were pulled out of the house and thrown on the what we called a wash line and presented a firm beating with a carpet beater created from bamboo sticks brought in from Jakarta the Capital of Indonesia, to get the dirt off, then put back on the living area floor to enjoy again.
The preliminary schools in these days lasted Six years, Monday to Friday, and Saturday mornings, Wednesday afternoon free. Some schools began having a small bottle of milk given by the government for all the students. There never was any sort of homework, almost all school work was done in school, that has been fantastic.
How did the early era expend their spare time? Some of us were paying attention to radio programs, that came on every night around Seven pm with continuing drama, which made you want to listen to the next episode the next night. Other families like my 2 brothers and two sisters and parents were enjoying card games for candies, monopoly, chess, and checkers, which was in the house, out the house we were playing different games using marbles, and Hula hoop, and flying homemade kites.
Likewise the majority of us would have a spare time activity, my favourite hobby was monochrome Photography, Inside the room of the house was a deep closet that I converted into a spare time activity closet, along with Three trays which appeared as if trays for paint but was not, one particular was utilized for developer, 1 for rinsing and the other for backing the photos.
Important was a Paterson tank to develop the negatives, an enlarger to help make the photos and the Three baths. In the event the pictures went through the three baths, they were clipped on a wash line to dry out just like the laundry.
