How City Bikes Can Be Compared to Nintendo

by Rob Sutter

City bikes are, by definition, used mainly for short-paced, leisurely rides throughout an area. They aren't meant to be committed to heavily, though I can certainly see how people can become passionate about them. Having said that, they are made with a more casual audience in mind and I think that Nintendo in its current state is the same way. They can be used with the utmost passion in the right hands but overall, they are meant specifically for casual usage.

The video games that Nintendo has for their systems are not quite as lengthy as those found on other systems. They aren't terrible, though; they are still well-crafted and it's hard for me to see even the tiniest spec of a glitch, showing a great deal of polish as well. Their expansive nature is quite limited, though since "Assassin's Creed 3" is quite large and "The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword" seems dwarfed by it. To me, some games are meant to be casual, which doesn't make them bad, and these types of bicycles seem to fit into that mold.

Companies such as Linus Bikes create a bevy of bicycles to sell such as vintage and European for those who admire a more collective taste. However, city bikes seem to be the more common type in existence but that doesn't make them any less functional. People enjoy using them because they are so easy to handle and it doesn't take much to get the hang of how they control. It's easy to utilize these bikes and there isn't a thing wrong with that, if you ask me.

Once you find that you're not having fun performing an activity anymore, it might be time move onto something different. I can't begin to tell you how many RPGs I've played within my life that I simply gave up on because they just took too much work for even me to want to give. I simply don't have the patience for it when all I want to do is play a video game. When I have to walk away from the game system, it's a very telling sign, don't you think?

Sometimes I don't want to spend many hours on a video game with a grand storyline. There might be instances where I just want to run through a world with no other objective than run and jump. I feel like bicycles can be the same where I don't want to commit to a lengthy ride which may span miles upon smiles. A simple ride around the block could do just fine and a city bike, much like a Nintendo platform, does the job very nicely.
