There are many choices to make in creating a character in World of Warcraft. You can pick your faction, race, course and looks. How you pick every single of these is entirely as much as you, but there are guidelines depending on what kind of character you'd prefer to perform as. The Alliance is perceived as the "good guys" on this fantasy role-playing online game.
Log in to your WOW account. This needs only your username, password and security key if you've opted for that feature. Choose your server. There are different types of servers to select from. You can select a PvE server exactly where you mainly focus your energies toward beating the game itself. PvP is one exactly where you can kill anybody belonging to the opposite faction at any time. Finally, there is RP (Role-Playing), that is the same exact as PvE except which you are limited to speaking only as the character; you cannot talk about current events or technologies, or you can be prohibited.
Choose race from left-hand (alliance) side. You can select from the little Gnome and Dwarf races, the common Human, the nimble night Elf and for those people who have the expansion packs you can be the mystical Dranei race or last but not least the shape-shifting Worgen. Each competition has its personal particular ability, so read the aspect panel of information, exactly where Blizzard gives you almost everything you have to know about the race.
Choose a course from the list under the race section. Your course is your "job" in the game. Your main jobs can be healing, damage or "tanking". Healers have little enemy interaction. Damage dealers do the most damage, and tanks are up front in reach of each enemy. The info panel towards suitable belonging to the screen will give you all info you have to know to aid you make your decision on which program to play. Click on your physical appearance modifiers. They are little arrows labeled by what feature they change. There are many choices for choosing your looks. From facial hair to earrings, you can customize it all. You can change your hairstyle and hair color in-game in the barbershop after the character is created. For those people who ever want to change any other physical features, including your race, you will have to spend for that feature.
Type a name for the character. There are greater than ten million World of Warcraft players as of dec 2010, which means you might not get the name you want. The only restrictions are it has for being clean, lower than 14 letters and cannot use three belonging to the same exact letter in a row. Blizzard also offers an arbitrary name generator in the bottom from the character creation screen. And finally, click "Accept".
