Wood is excellent using the genuine butt plate and grip cap. Barrels are 30" and are choked full/
full. Incredibly desirable gun! It is a guideline the higher the grade a lot more valuable the Parker. This could
not carry real though if you have V or grade 1 in a 20 gauge in comparison to a higher-grade 12
gauge, the smaller gauges always request high grade and value guides add more from 25% to 200%
based on the gauge.
The most typical restorations made to shotguns are: regluing the barrels, trimming the stock
for a pad or enhancing the stock, improving the bores or detaching the chokes and even worst
cutting the barrel to create a skeet or grouse gun. The typical problem with regluing is normally all
the labels are usually ground off or the barrel is filed down in order to make it unsafe as the surfaces are too thin,
also the barrels are hot blued not rust blued. Many early Parkers can be purchased which has a butt
pad rather than the butt plate, everything we see though, almost all cut stocks have new generic pads you
can get over the counter. A gunsmith having expertise in good quality doubles could correct most of this
job. Check the shotgun deals to find out more. Absolutely nothing can be carried out though in order to re-establish the value of cut barrels or thin barrel walls.
