It's a very sad fact, but most gun owners are pretty lame. I don't know what it is about that particular personality archetype, but it lends itself to a type of person who is withdrawn and doesn't want too many intrusions in their person space. That being said, I'm not here to discuss the flaws of the general gun owner. I'm here to talk about how they're become considerably much less lame since they've been wearing cool gun t-shirts.
Twice a year in the great state of Kentucky, there is a giant shooting range set up for machine gunners to have fun with. People naturally started coming to watch, and sellers sprang up all around in stalls. Last year I went and noticed that there were a few people walking around with really cool gun t-shirts that made me want to find where they were bought from.
None of the vendors had cool gun t-shirts for sale, as far as I could tell. I saw one guy wearing one and being asked by a vendor where he had gotten it. The vendors, in general, seemed pretty astounded by how cool these shirts were themselves. Do you know who was wearing them? A whole younger generation of gun enthusiasts, many of whom looked like returned war vets.
Since I go every year, I made a mental not to take notice if there were lots more people wearing the cool gun t-shirts I had seen from the previous year. Sure enough, lots of the stall runners had those shirt in stock. In addition to that, all of the younger people from the year before were still wearing cool gun t-shirts and lots of those older guys were wearing them now too.
Being a gun lover to the extreme myself, I'm very pleased to see the community jump on board with these much cooler, much hipper shirts these days. Now I can expect to see something somewhat fashionable for sale at the events I go to instead of just countless variations of "Don't tread on me!" shirts. Thank goodness for cool gun t-shirts, because now I can support my passion with pride!
