* Slash the runners from a fully grown plant to grow saplings.
* So that the rooting area will stay damp, place the cuttings in a Perlite. The roots will grow back, just wait.
* What needs to be done now is to immerse the roots in a microbial mixture then seal it in a plastic and keep it in a refrigerator for at least five to four months.
* Once done imitating the winter conditions, perform the hydroponic system on the saplings and make sure they are dipped in the solution. It is very important that you add the hydroponic nutrients to the system.
* The maintained level of PH is 5.8 to 6.2. The solution has to be changed every two weeks so that the PH level stays the same.
* Sweep the pollens around so that it may spread to the pistils and stamens -- this is done when the flower has bloomed.
* When the fruit has matured, harvest it.
There are advantages from cultivating strawberries hydroponically and these are:
The rose family includes the strawberries and it also includes the plums, apples and pears. The strawberries are good for the body because they contain Vitamin C. The strawberries are believed to contain properties that are anti-cancer.
The following advantages of hydroponic cultivated strawberries compared to the time-honored way of cultivating strawberries:
* There are no weeds and parasites to be found on these strawberries.
* There is no threat that the wild life will be harmed.
* One of the advantage of having hydroponically grown strawberries is that they may be placed inside under any bulb or outside under the sun.
* Another important factor to consider is the temperature because if it is too cold or even too hot, the produced fruit will not be at its fullest form. Keeping the hydroponic strawberries at a perfect level of nourishment and temperature gives you a spotless, juicy and big fruit.
* If you are cultivating your strawberries hydroponically then you are able to maximize the space that you have. Piling the strawberries gives you the benefit of using your available airspace. The water level can still attain the level that your strawberries has reached if they were planted horizontally.
Cultivating plants without using soil is called hydroponics. The hydroponics gardening method is such a blessing to the agriculture industry because they have harvested more and received more in return. Because there are many growers who have seen the positive effects of using the hydroponics systems when cultivating strawberries even though it is still slowly becoming popular.
