Obstacle Races in the Zelda Universe

If there's one thing that can be said about the "Legend of Zelda" series, it's that each game possesses a wide scope. You can be certain that there are many terrains that you can move across, whether it's on foot or upon the back of a horse. Link serves as the main character of these games that has no choice but to move about constantly. One has to wonder if he would be able to hold his own if he were to take part in a series of obstacle races.
As far as traveling during his adventures in Hyrule is concerned, I believe that Link has written the book on the places to go. Since he is tasked with the fate of the world, I don't think that there is a single location that he hasn't scouted. Let's say he were to set up a course for himself to travel through, for the sake of exercise. He would definitely be able to predict where each landmark would be, utilizing dashes and jumps in order to traverse the environment.
Link may not be the only person who could make use of these obstacle races, either. Keep in mind that he has been through many <a href="https://www.facebook.com/spartanrace/">games</a> and it wasn't until the later ones that he had his trusty horse by his side. Unlike others, this particular steed is able to dash at much quicker paces and performs leaps that would make other horses blush with envy. It's no question that this type of animal could work well in this situation and be able to perform with the intensity of this participating in Spartan Race.
Let's say that Epona was nowhere near Link's side; even though he's without his friend, the hero clad in green would still be able to make use of his natural <a href="https://twitter.com/SpartanRace/followers/">athleticism</a>. It's not like he's a stranger to high-pressure situation, since he had to combat the mightiest of enemies and maneuver his way through one perilous dungeon after another. In this regard, Link is perhaps one of the most multi-faceted heroes in the world. In my opinion, there isn't a base he has left uncovered.
Link's potential usage of obstacle races could come about and I think that no one can deny the fact. The truth is that throughout the many dungeons he has conquered, there isn't one that he could call his own. Link doesn't have a set location where he can freely work out, which means that he has to continue working like a nomad who constantly moves about. Hopefully that nomad-like lifestyle will change and he can actually perform at a better level.
