I consider myself an avid gamer and I think that mobile gaming has picked up steam, even more so than any console. I think this is because of how impatient people are and their needs to have quick fixes in terms of the titles that they play. It does not matter whether it's on an iPod or an Android device, though, because it's clear that you can't go wrong with either. Out of the many subjects one can play with, adventure racing most certainly needs to be looked at more.
Out of all of the mobile games that I have played, I like to think that the endless running ones are the most addictive. There's something enjoyable about wanting to best your own high score and show that you can do better and better with each run. You have to keep your eyes peeled and your fingers ready, though, since the level of intensity will only continue to rise. The instance of intensity is something that can carry over to many other forms of entertainment, too.
I think that when it comes to games with intense activity being seen, one cannot go wrong with adventure racing. Companies such as Spartan Race work well since there are many instances where people have to be able to show that they can withstand any situation. There's a level of <a href="http://blog.spartanrace.com/he-said-she-said-30-day-challenge/">challenge</a> that cannot go unquestioned, since sporting events and the sort are going to be competitive. Add in instances of unpredictable weather and terrain and it almost seems like these games create themselves.
If you want to talk about frantic nature, I don't think that there are many titles that match up to "Jetpack Joyride." With so many obstacles to traverse and pickup items that can help enhance the experience, I think that there are a number of games that can stand to follow this kind of <a href="https://twitter.com/SpartanRace/followers/">example</a>. It can also help if there are added achievements, which are tasks people can complete for the sake of bragging rights. It's another aspect that people can become addicted to.
Mobile gaming has become a hobby of mine and I believe that originates from a number of factors. For example, what if someone wants to play but they don't have the funds necessary in order to invest in console titles on a regular basis? Mobile titles are inexpensive and it's like anyone can afford them but the level of addiction that comes with them cannot be denied. Adventure racing, in my opinion, needs to be a subject that is explored on a more constant basis.
